We love Bianca!
She is so great with my little Billy and the baby!
-Emily, October 2014
We would like to give you some feedback on Bianca because we liked her so much.
Bianca is one of the very best babysitters we have ever had.
She is fun, careful, and responsible.
We felt comfortable with her taking our 3 year old son
to the Arboretum and parks, and they had a total blast.
Whenever we return home after our son has been with Bianca
he is happy and eager to tell us about their adventures.
Thank you,
Adele, September 2014
Wanted you to know that Bianca was the perfect sitter.
She was the right choice to spend the day with Alex.
Thanks,

is not just "hanging out". I took this job very seriously and created projects and activities that were relevant to the students and that reflected on feelings and skills. Though a challenge, I reflect only positively for my work there and to this day they have my giant paper tree still hung on the wall where girls can create flowers and leaves for each season that have positive messages to other students such as themselves. I also worked part time as a Behavioral Therapist for children on the autism spectrum providing aid to children with autism and support in learning activities of daily living such as brushing their teeth, learning independence in toileting, and many other skills relevant to the social world.
I currently work as an In-Home Counselor and Therapeutic Mentor for children of all ages and right now my clients range from age 8 to 18. I continue to use my activity experience everyday to help children access their feelings and cope with difficult situations in a fun and relaxing way. I love my job and most of the time, aside from necessary paperwork, don't even feel like I am working.
I bring creativity and genuine love for children to each new childcare experience. I have always felt comfortable caring for children and can entertain for hours on end with games and projects. I look forward to caring for your children and will serve them with the respect and dignity that each child deserves!
After college, I began my career as a counselor and worked with teens from the age of 11 all the way up to 19 in a residential setting. I functioned as the supervisor for a dorm of 18 teenage girls who were dealing with many different behavioral problems who were living there for respite from their homes. As a supervisor I not only manages the girls and ensured safety in all aspects, but managed the rest of the staff for quality of service. Before becoming a supervisor, I served as the activities director and provided structured activities in the evenings every single day. If you have every met a group of unruly teenage girls, you can imagine the difficulty of getting them all to sit down, follow directions, and most importantly be engaged in an activity that
this city in every possible way and have kept my country beginnings. There is no stretch of this town I have not walked, biked, or explored and for that I have developed a keen sense of direction that helps me travel anywhere in the city. I would love nothing more than to share this knowledge of the rich culture of Boston with your children and, of course, pair that exploration with avid care of safety, kindness and awareness that us country folks never let go of.
I have been around children since I myself was small and have been working with them in one way or another ever since in a wide variety of settings and circumstances. I began my experience when I was not yet a teenager, helping my best friend care for her many nieces and nephews aged from newborn to 7 years old. I never saw it as a chore or task but as something that is just done, family helping family. I continued in natural childcare into my teen years helping my mother when i was in High School as she ran a small scale day care out of her home. Though it was unpaid, I would spend late afternoons with her and the kids playing, cooking, and of course changing multiple diapers until everyone felt healthy and happy!
My first professional experience came in college when I interned at the Commonwealth Children's Center, a not for profit agency that served government employees on Beacon Hill and there served a parental clientele consisting mostly of Lawyers and Bankers. I worked as an assistant teacher in 3 different classrooms that included infants, toddlers, and children of preschool age. there I got my foundation of what quality early childhood education was made of and learned an endless repertoire of games, art projects, and tools to build reading skills in almost anything we did! I also provided after hours childcare to many of the parents there, especially on weekends, and was requested quite often as a babysitter. Since then I have continued with informal childcare in the form of babysitting across a wide variety of people and places. I also volunteered in college as an Americorps member for Jumpstart, an organization dedicated to providing quality early childhood education to underprivileged children in different areas of the city. There, again, I was in the classroom focusing mostly on teaching reading skills and incorporating this into interactive play.
My name is Bianca and I am so excited to work with your family! I adore children and have tried in my adult life to retain some of the spirit and energy that we all experienced when we were children. I grew up in the great state of New Hampshire and migrated to the beautiful Boston area circa 2006 to study Sociology at Northeastern University. I fell in love and have lived here ever since. Growing up in the woods I developed an affinity for the outdoors and go back any chance I get. I was fortunate to never be without a challenge growing up and it has helped me become an avid hiker, biker, camper, swimmer, and participant in any other activities that involve being outside in the fresh air! Though some may see such a change to city life as abrupt, I feel a perfect balance and have embraced
