Boston's Best BabySitters

within a few miles of campus. Throughout my years at UNH I was constantly in schools completing different practicums in grades K-5.

After completing both of my degrees I worked for Early Head Start with children ages 0-3 and their parents. At this time I completed home visits to a caseload of low-income families working with parents and their child on developmental milestones and kindergarten readiness skills. I absolutely loved being able to go into families homes and became very close to them over time. What better way to work with children on these skills than right in their home with their parents? After Early Head Start I decided to move halfway across the world and teach Kindergarten in Thailand at an international school! I taught in Thailand for one year and it was the best experience of my life! Now I am currently a Kindergarten teacher in Massachusetts and I love my job. There is never a day that I dread going to work because each day brings something new and exciting. Becoming an elementary teacher has been my dream since I was just a child and I am finally fulfilling it.

I have lots of experience with Special Needs as I have had children in my classroom with a wide variety of needs and accommodations. I also have experience with newborns! I was nannying for a family when the youngest was just two weeks old! As much as I love the little ones, I also have lots of experience with older kids as well! I have two half siblings that are 12 and 15 years younger than me; currently ages 11 and 14.

In my free time I am absolutely a beach bum! I love going to be the beach whether it’s morning, noon, or night. In general I love doing anything outdoors such as hiking, running, or just taking a stroll through new places. I also love to travel. I have been to 23 countries and I hope I have the opportunity for that list to keep growing. I love to meet new people, discover new places, and try new things!

Bottom line is I love kids!! I know how hard it can be to take a night off and relax but rest assured I am here to do that for you and your family! I look forward to meeting you!

Hello Families! My name is Caitlin Keefe and I live in the Boston area! I am currently a Kindergarten teacher in Burlington, Massachusetts and absolutely LOVE working and playing with kids! I am 25 years old and have been in one way or another involved with kids for over 10 years!

I have been babysitting, nannying, and caregiving since I was 15 years old. I attended the University of New Hampshire where I received my Bachelors degree in Child Development. I then continued my education at UNH for another year completing an accelerated master's program for Elementary Education, graduating in 2015 with a Masters in Elementary Education. Throughout my years at UNH I nannied for a family close to campus that I have been babysitting since high school. For 3 of my years at UNH I was a literacy tutor for children in grades 1-3 working once per week at local libraries

I have been meaning to write and thank you for a perfect childcare experience

during our stay at the BHH this past weekend.

We had never used a service like this before and were a little nervous,

but you and Caitlin could not have done a better job at setting our minds at ease.
Caitlin happily made time to FaceTime with us before our trip and my son Luke was excited to meet her.

We really appreciated her energy and enthusiasm even over the phone!

On the day she sat for us, we spent 5 hours at the Children’s Museum and both kids were exhausted,

so I was worried that Luke would be unhappy that we were leaving,

but thanks to Caitlin’s good energy, he was fine.

We left her with a sleeping baby and a tired preschooler and she successfully put Luke to bed with no problems.

We had a long leisurely dinner with no worries and we were thrilled.
She was prompt, communicative, courteous and overall delightful.

We only wish we lived closer so we could use your services more often!
Thanks so much for everything!
All the best,
-Lauren, January 2018

Everything worked out great with Caitlin.

She got there on time, so she had a little time to get comfortable with our boys

and we felt very comfortable leaving with them with her.

When we got back to the hotel, the boys were asleep

and  we spoke to them the next morning and they really enjoyed their time with her.
Thank you very much for your help and we hope to be able to come to Boston sometime soon.
Best,
-Brian, October 2017

Dear Boston Best Babysitters,
We just wanted to write to leave Caitlin a raving review!

We were in Boston for a family wedding, and this was the first time our two and three-year-old boys

were in the care of someone other than close family members.

Caitlin took the time out of her day to video call with our family a week before,

which made the boys so excited to meet her.

When the big day came, Caitlin was incredible!

Our oldest was not in the best mood, and there were tears all around when we left.

Within the hour, we had a photo of our boys happily coloring.

As the wedding guests arrived, we lost count of how many people came up to us to say they had seen the boys

out “hunting ghosts” around our hotel.

We were beyond relieved and able to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime gathering stress-free.

To make things even better, the boys were actually asleep before we arrived home (an incredible feat!).

The only downside is that Caitlin doesn’t live closer to us, otherwise, we’d book her as often as we could!

A huge thank you to the service and to Caitlin for making a great weekend so memorable for the entire family.
Sincerely,
-The Fecteaus, August 2017
