Facebook or the Internet. I donate my expertise every month with an organization where my teaching is geared towards ‘at-risk’ mothers and caretakers. It’s very rewarding.
I know Boston and the most kid-friendly, interesting places in it. I can make this city an exciting place for children of all ages. I have memberships in the New England Aquarium and The Museum of Science and often take my older charges to one or the other. We always have a wonderful time. I am steeped in Boston history and love to share with children of all ages.
Babies are my specialty. I am Infant & Child CPR and First Aid certified and have completed BBB’s Infant Specialist program. I am a certified teacher of Dr. Harvey Karp’s ‘Happiest Baby on the Block’ program and am expert in ‘The 5-S’s.’ I have taken courses to be a Post-Partum Doula, Lactation Consulting, Sleep-Training and Birth-Trauma. Being a former R.N. has helped prepare me to handle most conditions of the children in my charge. In my 11 years with this agency, I have dealt with colds, allergies, sleep problems, separation anxiety, failure-to-thrive, Aspergers, Cerebral palsy, Rennies Disease, GERD, autism, blindness and reflux, to name a few.
To stay in shape, I do walking, water-aerobics and free-weight lifting. My travels have included every state in the USA (exceptions being HI and AK), Canada, Great Britain, Western Europe, (Italy 6 times), Scandinavia, China, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Costa Rica, the Panama Canal to Columbia, the Caribbean, Turkey and Morocco.

I wanted to let you know how great Meredith was
and how easy it was to for us to leave our baby under her care two nights in a row.
She was prompt, communicated well and proactively,
had a calming presence, really knew her way around how to handle a baby
(and a nervous mom who was simultaneously trying to get ready for an event)
and left our room clean and organized.
Should we ever need a sitter in Boston again we'd use her.
I actually wish she lived near us so we could make her a regular sitter!

Meredith has been caring for our 10 month old son on a consistent basis.
I say caring for him because she is so much more than a babysitter.
Meredith works with us and our son to improve his development and overall well being.
Since she started in March, she has helped him roll, crawl,
talk, improve fine and gross motor movements,
she massages him in a therapeutic way, taught him to sleep in his crib and not our bed,
sings to him, plays with him and loves him.
And let me tell you how he lights up when he sees her.
Half the time when I come home he doesn’t even want to go to me!
As first time parents with no family around to give us any tips,
Meredith has been an absolutely invaluable resource.
I can’t say enough positive things about Meredith
and I am thankful she came into our lives at exactly the right time!
I’m sad I have to go back to work soon and we won’t see her as often as we do.

From the moment I met Meredith,
I instantly felt at ease that I had chosen a great sitter to take care of my almost 11-month old son.
Although we have left him with family and friends,
this was the first time for me to use a "sitter" we didn't know, so I was bit nervous.
Meredith's nurturing and warm presence immediately calmed my nerves
and created an environment as if I was leaving him with his Mimi.
Trey warmed up to Meredith right away and loved the toys and games she brought for him.
I also appreciated Meredith's creativity and resourcefulness in finding a solution
to make it dark enough for him to go to sleep.
She was able to use towels around the roll-away crib so that it was dark - a brilliant idea.
Overall, I highly recommend Meredith and wish we could use her again before we fly back home.
I will definitely request her the next time we're in Boston!

Meredith watched our 11 month old son, Sean,
for two days while we were in town for a medical conference.
Sean has some special needs and it was a little bit stressful to leave him with someone
and be apart from him all day for two days.
Our minds were put at ease though because Meredith was FANTASTIC with him!
They went for walks, they played in a park, they enjoyed the fresh air and had a ball together.
We could not be happier with the care he received and if we come back to Boston
for another conference we will look into using Meredith again :)

We have been home for two weeks now and have finally got settled in

I wrote a review on your site but also wanted to write you as well.
I wanted to thank you for your services and also brag a little bit about Meredith.
She was absolutely perfection!
We just loved her and how she was with Thomas.
She reminded me a little bit of my grandmother when I was growing up.
So loving and kind, but such a calm way about her that makes a person so at ease.
I just watched her and thought, "Oh my goodness, she knows exactly what she is doing....
I can definitely learn a few things from her!"
Anyway, I had a very good feeling about her right away and knew I could trust her.
My husband and I had three date nights out on the town
and got to meet up with old friends for one of them.
Having Meredith watch Thomas was a blessing for him, as well as for us.
We were able to experience our vacation to the fullest
and do everything we wanted to do and see,
which would not have been possible without your services.
We didn't feel like we were held back because we had a baby in tow.
It really was the best of both worlds!

Comments : My husband and I came out to Boston from California
and brought our 8 month old son Thomas.
I was nervous at first to leave him with someone I had never met before.
After doing some research and reading the reviews, we chose to use Meredith.
She watched our little Thomas for three different evenings
and was very punctual and even showed up a little early.
I immediately had a very good feeling about her as soon as we met,
and she quickly gained our trust.
She was very kind, loving and attentive to Thomas
and seemed to know exactly what she was doing.
Thomas can really be a handful sometimes and Meredith
had a very calming way about her that seemed to settle him down.
She talked to him, played with him, and sang him songs
as I was finishing getting ready before leaving the hotel room.
Every night we came back to the hotel,
Thomas was sound asleep and we got a full report about how the evening went.
She even text us pictures of him while we were away, which we really appreciated and loved.
She is also an infant massage educator on top of being a retired RN,
and left us a packet of instructional material on infant massage after we expressed interest.
We were so impressed with her as a person and her skills with our baby that we had to write a review.
I hope this is helpful for those parents considering this service.
It was wonderful for my husband and I to have a few date nights in town
and meet up with some old friends knowing that our baby was in good hands.
We would recommend Meredith without any hesitation
and plan to use her when we return to Boston next.

Meredith looked after son Ishaan (3 years) old at the Westin Copley.
This was our first time experience of having a baby sitter with our son in the hotel room.
We really were not sure of what to expect.
At the end of the night, we thought we were the luckiest individuals
to have had a baby sitter as wonderful as Meredith.
She brought several toys, coloring books and teaching material that kept our son engaged for hours.
She was cheerful, warm and just another member of the family for us.
The part that truly touched us was the way she found out that our son
had restless legs and needed a nice massage to help him sleep.
Not only did he sleep better that we have ever seen him,
we learned a ton about how to help him sleep even when we got back home.
Here is the best part.
Meredith kept in touch with us and gave us advise on how to care for his restless legs.
Her follow up was immense and for someone who just spent one evening with our son -
we our forever touched by Meredith.
We will always ask for her to baby sit our son when we are in Boston.

I was thoroughly impressed with Meredith's
knowledge and teaching of baby massage and exercise.
Her effective instruction allowed me to grasp a firm understanding

I like to say a very special thank you to Meredith for watching my 10-month old baby girl.
Meredith came to the Hotel on time and was ready to work.
She brought so many things with her, I couldn't believe it.
She had her own toys, diapers and food; she was very prepared for any situation.
Meredith watched my daughter while I attended an evening wedding,
so all she had to do was feed her and put her to bed, but Meredith did much more than that.
She gave her a bath, played with her, played her soft music and gave her gentle body strokes
to unwind. Meredith also stayed later than what was expected, I had text her and asked
if she could stay later, it wasn't a problem. I would highly recommend Meredith to anyone looking
for a babysitter, she exceeded all my expectation .

I would just like to submit praise for Meredith.
She babysat our 18-month-old, Chandler, on May 25 and 26 at Boston Harbor Hotel.
She was great with him!!
He normally doesn't bond with anyone very quickly and when she came back
the second afternoon, he ran to her with open arms.
I've never seen him do that with anyone other than my husband and I.
When she left at the end of the second day, he cried and was sad to see her go.
In addition, Meredith arrived on time and equipped with books, toys, and snacks
to entertain him and took him out for excursions both afternoons.
Needless to say, I was completely relieved to know that he was so happy and well cared for
while I was working. If I ever need to return to Boston for work, you can be sure I will

My husband and I travelled to Boston for a wedding and needed someone to watch our daughter.
Having never used a babysitter I was a little nervous and Meredith walked in and
