I wish Peggy lived near us so we could have her as a nanny everyday!
She was phenomenal - so kind, attentive and trustworthy.
It was my first time leaving my 7 month old baby girl with someone other than family
and I was completely at ease knowing Peggy was watching her.
She communicated well and sent me texts and photos, was promptly on time,
so helpful and my daughter loved her!
I cannot recommend her enough.

From the start, Peggy was so kind and attentive!

Peggy watched our four year old for two days in October.
My daughter had the best time!
They went to the library, children’s museum, etc.
The second day, she was so excited to see Peggy that she didn’t care that I had a meeting, which is a first.
Peggy also kept in contact through texts and pictures.
I honestly think my daughter has never enjoyed a babysitter more.
I highly recommend her and will definitely try to book her again the next time I’m in Boston.

Peggy truly made our trip enjoyable and manageable with two small kids and a very packed schedule.

I would like to recommend Peggy as a babysitter.
Peggy worked for me and my husband for around 5 weeks from
early September to mid-October 2011. She looked after our son (aged 5)
for several hours after school and occasionally for our daughter (nearly 2).
This was a temporary situation as our usual babysitter had injured herself
and was unable to work during that period. From the first day Peggy started,
she did a great job with our kids, quickly distracting and soothing our daughter
when I left and keeping our son fully engaged and busy.
Over the weeks, she played endless good-natured games of tic-tac-toe, read books,
colored pictures, and played in the playground with our son.
This was at a challenging time – our son had just started kindergarten
and so was often very tired and irritable after school.
Peggy was great at ensuring he had some
“quiet time” (which we wanted, but he resisted) before playing.
Throughout she was able to keep him happy and relaxed.
Peggy also took care of our daughter on several occasions.
She kept the two of our kids happily playing and engaged,
maintaining enough discipline to help them play well together or apart.
Peggy was reliable and willing to be flexible in her schedule.
On several occasions, she altered her schedule last minute to help us out.
She is energetic, smart, and fun, with a warm personality.
She was also very helpful, straightening up when our son was resting.
We very much appreciated having Peggy work with us.
Our son is very eager to see Peggy again, and we will continue to request her
when we need a babysitter from Boston Best Babysitters.

My most recent training with Boston's Best Babysitters is an Infant Care Specialist Course taken November 20th, 2010. I am very serious about keeping up-to-date with all the latest childcare courses available to me, including Infant & Child CPR and First Aid. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed learning about infant massage techniques, the secret language of baby cries through Dunstan Baby Language and Dr. Harvey Karp’s Five S’s: Swaddling, Side/Stomach Sleeping, Shhhh(ing) Sounds, Swinging and Sucking. Because I strongly believe in following family childcare routines and beliefs, I share these techniques with parents, and practice them only if requested.
