Amazing Service from start to finish.
We are first time parents and were in Boston for a work function.
We brought our 10 week old with us for the short trip
and were in need of a sitter for the few hours we were at our event.
BBB was provided on a list from the hotel and we couldn't be more pleased.
They provide excellent information to assist in making a decision and were prompt on communications.
All the profiles were excellent, but a few just seemed to connect.
Sarah was our 1st choice and my instincts were certainly on...
We arrived late to check in so we were already rushed to get to the event,
Sarah arrived early, waiting for us to finish getting ready
(but came on up while I did last min items,
and even helped with my dress that my husband was having difficulty with hah)...
Immediately our daughter was cooing and smiling at Sarah.
We were close we texted around bedtime to see if she had taken the bottle okay
and that I would be more than happy to return (an elevator away), to nurse briefly,
and Sarah was honest and said she was being fussy and that she was about to text me,
so I was able return for 20 min and then back on my way... soon as nursing was complete,
our daughter was content again with Sarah.
Its very relieving when a 10 week old connects with someone new in a new environment,
it gives the re-assurance that the caregiver is genuine.
She was extremely professional and courteous and very punctual.
We were so impressed with her and look forward to hopefully having Sarah again on our next trip.

Sarah came to help us 10 days after the birth of our son
when we were in need of help with baby care, breastfeeding, and household support.
Her tremendous experience, versatility, and kindness made an enormous
difference at a really crucial time for us.
Her many skills include breastfeeding support, newborn calming
and soothing techniques, and practical care (bathing, nail trimming etc).
She graciously taught us these skills, and stepped aside once we mastered them ourselves.
Sarah has an intuitive sense for how to be present in the household -
when to offer support and when to stay in the background.
She ably took on household chores (shopping, laundry, dishes, cooking)
so that we could focus on the needs of our baby (including breast feeding)
and ourselves (including eating, sleeping and showering).
We are extremely grateful for all that she has done for us
and recommend her without reservation.

We were recently in Boston for one week and Sarah babysat our 4-month old twins.
She is kind, was very gentle with the babies, and clearly knows her stuff!
Sarah was very punctual, flexible based on our schedule,
and took outstanding care of our babies - from daytime play to a bedtime routine,
she handled them with ease.
I would recommend Sarah without any hesitations and in fact,
we plan on booking her for our next trip to Boston in June.

In college, I studied developmental psychology, which has come to great use as a nanny. Over the years, having worked with many different families and I have taken away a wealth of knowledge when it comes to children and their parents. Having worked with newborns, doing overnight care, working with special needs children, dietary needs, separation issues, and everything in between, I can easily adjust to you and your child’s needs, whatever they may be. I easily adjust to all age groups and enjoy being with the most colicky of babies to the stubbornest of teenagers (and all the sweethearts in-between), because when it comes down to it, all kids are great.
Recently, I left my full time nanny family to concentrate on running my nonprofit that focuses on Human Rights. It has been a big change in my life but hope that still working with Boston’s Best Babysitters and the wonderful families that use them, I can assuage my need for kid time! I take the task of looking after your children with great responsibility and will protect them like they were my own. It does not matter if it is one night or for many years, I treat each family and child with great respect and know that it is an honor to watch your child.
I love this city! I know Boston and the T system very well, as I lived here for many years. I know where all the great parks are! I thoroughly enjoy exploring Boston with children, visiting the museums and other attractions that this wonderful city has to offer. I also know that some families do not feel comfortable with a nanny bringing their children out into the city. When this is the case, I will come loaded-down with fun and educational activities that are age-appropriate. Some kids love to do crafts or coloring, and others have excess energy and need to have a dance party. It has become second nature to me to read the situation and come up with an appropriate activity.
I love children! I think they are amazing little creatures that get to enjoy the world in its purest form. I get great enjoyment out of looking at the world through the eyes of all the children I have had the pleasure of nannying for. Having been a nanny for the past twelve years, I have worked with all ages from 10 days old to preteen, and every age in between. As a temp and long-term nanny in Boston and Austin, TX, I have experienced every situation that you could come up with. At this point, nothing phases me and I can easily jump into a situation and quickly smooth things over. I am easy-going, go-with-the-flow kind of person by nature, and have been told that I have the patience of a saint.
